Bill: Administration Bill 3099

Description[?]:
The current accumulation of proposals is not sufficient, we believe that political parties must be able to debate and introduce legislation more frequently. This is proving to be a limitation on the work parties can do. |

Message | We don't see a reason to raise such restrictions. It keeps the business of government manageable and will force parties to compromise/negotiate more. |

Message | The current restrictions leave parliament free of any work at all, that is you idea of manageable? We have to say no, no, no - more accountability, more representation and more government efficiency. Margaret Stonemason, KCP Leader |

Message | We believe that something like this will not pass, it will not pass for the shake of the current government wanting to hold the power as long as possible. Restrictions like these present a problem to many parties but we will have to indeed deal with them. The Action Kanjorienne said its that "It keeps the business of government manageable". Anyhow, we would ask the Action Kanjorienne to either consider this proposal or at least another one which we could bring up. |
Date | 11:58:17, April 04, 2011 CET | From | The Royal Union | To | Debating the Administration Bill 3099 |
Message | We agree with Action Kanjorienne. What traditionally happens is the floor is literally flooded with bills without a lot of time to debate them properly. |
