Message | Article 2 is wholly unacceptable and we will never consent to it. Article 1 is relatively inoffensive. |

Message | This nation currently allows the unrestricted use of nuclear weapons, but you won't consent to the restricted use of land mines? Seems a little hypocritical if you ask me. |

Message | Nuclear weapons are a bargaining chip with hostile nations, though we will consider placing restrictions on their use. Land mines are laid during war to kill an enemy and yet they have the same chance of remaining hidden long after the war to kill unsuspecting civilians. |

Message | The use of a nuclear weapon, or for that matter a chemical or biological weapon (which this nation also permits the unrestricted use of), carries a much greater number of civilian casualties than the use of land mines. In the event a hostile nation attempts an invasion, it is vital we take any steps necessary to defend our nation and its people. |

Message | We will start draft on a bill to restrict the usage of weapons of mass destruction very soon. Our current priority defences are strong alliances and the arming of the populace, both have been at the top of our list since the founding of the party. We have joined many alliances and have been working to loosen gun laws. (OOC: I will probably draft a bill on the use of weapons of mass destruction when I have proposals to do it with.) |
Date | 07:17:00, April 04, 2011 CET | From | Pontesian National Conservative Alliance | To | Debating the Pontesian Military Improvement Act |
Message | The PNCA has agreed to withdraw Article 2, and will bring Article 1 to a vote. |
