Message | Yes, we are aware this may have some negative effects as well, but given the current lack of respect for such basic tenets of Democracy like freedom of thought and believe, we feel it is necessary for the future of Democracy in Kundrati. |
Date | 21:10:08, November 19, 2005 CET | From | Unio enim si quis Motus Populi | To | Debating the Freedom of Information Bill |
Message | So, child porn and the like will further democracy? |
Date | 17:20:45, November 20, 2005 CET | From | Union of Work-Shy Elements | To | Debating the Freedom of Information Bill |
Message | National Solidarity makes a valid point. If the internet is not policed then it will become a safe haven for criminals and pederasts. The VGerist Party may tolerate this for the sake of “Freedom of Information”, but we will not. |
Date | 18:58:31, November 20, 2005 CET | From | Party of Evil | To | Debating the Freedom of Information Bill |
Message | These comments do not surprise us since the two parties making them have already shown their commitment to freedom of thought and religion is less than might be expected from true democrats. There will always be a downside, but the Internet does not _cause_ people to create child porn; it was there long before the Internet existed. Once the Government begins to put limits on the information that the people may receive, limits on other liberties are sure to follow. |
Date | 19:25:09, November 20, 2005 CET | From | Kundrati Revolutionary Movement | To | Debating the Freedom of Information Bill |
Message | The free flow of information on the internet, away from the prying eyes of the state, is essential to the revolution. Supported. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
