Description[?]:
"Due to the recent surge of violence against the State and its representatives, both military and civilian, and the treasonous act of creating the Majatran Socialist People's Republic of Badara by the Majatran Communist Party (Badara), the Government has taken emergency measures to ensure it remains capable of containing the threats made by communist insurrection. I call on all Badarans, communist and royalist alike, to let behind any selfish feelings and actions for the greater good, namely our beloved homeland Al'Badara. We should not be fighting eachother, for we are Brothers. Please, stop this violence and fighting and let us start a dialogue before we reach a point of no return." Signed, Muhammed bin Said, Grand Vizier of the Majatran Sultanate of the United Badaran Emirates. |

Message | It is most curious, Grand Vizier, that you call for dialogue and then seek to implement measures that would turn Al'Badara into a police state. Surely these two things are contradictory. It is also deeply concerning because, in our experience, emergency powers once granted are seldom relinquished by those who wield them. It is the current opinion of the Beiteynuese government that these measures will only exacerbate the situation further, and that the repression of the Majatran Communist Party will only lead to further destabilisation in the region. We demand a full explanation from the governing coalition as to why it has seen fit to engage in a breach of democratic norms by banning a political party and, indeed, a party which is supported by a greater share of the population than any other. We will be monitoring this situation closely. Ahmad Habibi Foreign Minister of Beiteynu |

Message | "With all due respect, Mr. Habibi, the Badaran Government does not feel obliged to account to foreign powers for the decisions it has made in regards to dealing with internal issues. However, i would like to remark that the Badaran Government has not, at this point, asked for or ordered a ban against the Majatran Communist Party (Badara). According to the Badaran Constitution, the Government cannot ban a political party or organization." Muhammed bin Said, Grand Vizier of the Majatran Sultanate of the United Badaran Emirates. |
