MessageSUNS issues a public statement:

The disorder which required the intervention of the military was a shock to us all. As Sekowo rebuilds, we urge all citizens to do their utmost to support order and good government throughout our homeland. Civilian government will only be restored once the people are confident in their own safety, and SUNS supports the Taishōgun in his efforts to restore democratic governance. We are also grateful that our humble coalition of community organizations may still work for the betterment of our nation, even in the wake of such turbulent affairs. To every thing there is a season.

I have no idea, I had it planned out to the early 3,000's, but stopped after that.

I guess we could go with it being Empress Michiko.

MessageOOC: Sounds good to me. I hadn't realized until a bit after my earlier post, exactly how long things had been "paused" in this country. I figure that SUNS was prepared to organize against the Teikoku Shakai-to government if their ballot access were denied -- and then, the coup happened. Consequently, the somewhat guarded and likely unrealistic press statement above. SUNS leaders would like to believe that the Tōhōkai will restore democracy in the long run, even despite the evidence, because they were not sure about the Shakai-to either.

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
