Bill: National Parks Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3118

Description[?]:

Current legislation leaves park policies to local governments but this is a heavily flawed system that does not provide comprehensive protection to our country's delicate ecosystems. There are too many loopholes in the current system so we suggest that it becomes centralized so that national government funds and maintains a network of national parks and marine protected areas.
