Bill: Organ Donations Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Avanti Istalia!
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3120
Description[?]:
Very few realize the importance of organ donations, and even fewer actually bother to give their consent to donate their organs. While we cannot enforce universal organ donations, not because we think the deceased should be respected, but because they are de facto, and probably de jure, property of their families, we feel many of them will be of great help to many of our citizens if we dictate that organ donation consent is assumed unless otherwise stated. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning organ donations.
Old value:: Organ donations are legal with personal consent.
Current: Organ donation is prohibited.
Proposed: Unless otherwise stated, consent is assumed.

Message | While we suppor the reasonings behind this bill, we believe the potential donators themselves are the judge of this, and existing law is alright. However, government campaigns to promote organ donation should be considered. |
