MessageNo. Our laws prohibit capital punishment, torture, and just about every other bad thing we could do to them. It's the principle that matters here - the international community does not have the right to tell us what to do with our PoWs. After all, they were attacking and trying to kill us (The PoWs, not the international community).

MessageOur laws prohibit that for criminals, not for PoWs. And the international community does have the right to set standards of treatment for PoWs, anyone who denies that is either stupid or ignorant. PoWs are just soldiers like our own Rutanian soldiers, they do not want to wage war, but they obey their superiors' orders. Who are we to blame them for something their Government is responsible for?

By removing appliance by these international standards, you are giving our Government and military the right to abuse Prisoners of War.

Message"so lower standards..."

Actually, they could well be *higher* standards. All this says is that they will be determined by us, not that they will be higher or lower.

Rollseyes

In other words, anyone who disagrees with Ganny is stupid or ignorant.

"you are giving our Government and military the right to abuse Prisoners of War."

Bullshit again from the RSDP. When will they stop making things up? They do it all the time

As our laws forbid torture, they wont be tortured. As our laws forbid the death penalty, they wont get that. Jeez, stop talking shit
