Bill: Preparations for Defence
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Kafuristan
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2144
Description[?]:
Government-organised precautions against the Deltarian threat. Please keep in mind the following considerations, for I have avoided my "everything-owned-by-state" mindset this time to compromise to allow this to pass. Article 1: Shelters provide citizens with a safe place during any agressions or disaster scenarios, lessening the morale impact of an attack. Article 2: If the government OR private defence industry fails, the other shall back us up, allowing us to continue to thrive militarily. Article 3: The national fire department will be much more organised and better funded to deal with disasters related to attacks. Article 4: People left homeless/jobless will have a place to go in public housing, lessening the economic blow of an attack. |

Message | This is not preparing for defense, it is an attempt to create a huge government, where local municipalities have no say in things that should be left for them, and a government that is starting to control all aspects of business. We cannot agree with this bill. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
