Bill: Economic Taxation Repeal Act of 3125
Details
Submitted by[?]: Sovereign Nationalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3127
Description[?]:
This bill proposal if passed would effectively repeal the following orders enacted: - His Majesty's Government Financial Institutions and Spending Regulations Act of 2821 - His Majesty's Government's Taxation Regulations Act of 2919 This bill due to its nature in repealing former acts that have been standing Constitutional Amendments would effectively be noted as an Amendment to the Constitution of this nation. As such as stated by the Holy Empire of Luthori's Constitution a 2/3 majority is required for this bill to pass and become an Amendment. The Sovereign Nationalist Party and its allies feel that these two laws initiated can cause harm to the entire economic system of the nation by crippling the Government from making changes that are needed in times to bolster the economy or create a safety net in harsh economic climates. More importantly it makes it more possible for corruption to spread by completely bypassing the safeguards needed to ensure that the rights of the populace is protected. Signed, Sovereign Nationalist Party (Economic Committee) |
