Bill: Religious School Regulations and Standards Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Workers' Communist Party of Cobura
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2144
Description[?]:
The current system of allowing even the most extreme of religions (some of which spawn terrorist groups that seek the Republic's Destruction) without so much as an OUNCE of regulation must end now. While the CSP would like to see the state embrace State Atheism, this bill does not do that, instead it regulates the religious schools to ensure that they are not turning out the next gen. suicide bombers and wack-job psycho killers and child abusers. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The governments stance on religious schools.
Old value:: Any religion may set up a school, with no regulations.
Current: Only recognised religions may set up religious schools, with no regulations.
Proposed: Any religion may set up a school, but they are strictly regulated.

Message | Oh, of course! Were so power hungry that we are always trying to get places in Parliment. So power hungry we want Democratic Councils in Business's, so power hungry that we want war and national service. Thats how power hungry we are! Much more then the CSP will ever be, of course! |

Message | No, unlike you we DO believe in Democracy and Voting and Equality (except for the case of Commies and Religious Fanatics). The CSP represents the glorious future that shall come about no matter what you try to do to stop it! |
Date | 22:28:20, November 20, 2005 CET | From | Zapatista Party | To | Debating the Religious School Regulations and Standards Act |
Message | Hollow threats! We have better this to do then worry about your party, such as milking cows on our collective farms, clearing moss from out of our houses gutters, playing a good old fashioned game of cricket and taking small naps during the evening. Your version of Democracy and Equality is STILL laughable! The only future the CSP holds is war, violence, oppression, death and nukes! If you call that promising, we are seriously worried! |

Message | While the ZP vision of the future is a world in perpetual anarchy and chaos, a world built on fear, murder, total state control, Trade Union Tyranny, the destruction of the individual, technological regression, economic collapse, and borders so open and so unprotected that a man armed with a dead chicken could take over as the Dictator of the Evil Empire of Cobura. |

Message | Hmmm I think the Zapatistas have lost it. Surely we'd imagine that they would be for religious school being allowed to be ran, but with regulations as to education. |

Message | Evil Empire of Cobura has a nice little ring to it. |

Message | So the ZP is obviously supportive of Islamic Schools that teach kids how to make bombs to blow themselves up, or Catholic schools that give the Child-Molester Priests 24/7 access to young boys and girls or the Hare Krishna schools where children are tied up and locked in closets for hours on end without food or water? These schools are dangerous and need to be regulated so that atrocities like this can never happen again en mass. |
