Message | Rt Hon June Jones MP, Minister for Health and Social Services, Mr Speaker, I agree with all proposed articles, with the exception of article 3. Article 3 removes the right for the individual to choose. We are in favour of organ donation, but there should be a way for the individual to opt out if they want to. |

Message | Hon Stephen Myerson MP, Leader of the Labour Party Mr Speaker, we shall alter the bill in line with the Right Honourable member's suggestions, though we feel strongly that there simply is no reason why one would need to refuse organ donation. In our opinion, refusal is merely 'freedom to not help others', a contemptible philosophy if ever there was one. |

Message | Rt Hon June Jones MP, Minister for Health and Social Services, Mr Speaker, we thank the Honourable Gentleman for his co-operation. We simply believe that the body is your own. There are religions where organ donation vilolates scripture, and though the majority of Hutorians are not religious, it is important to be respectful. The Prime Minister has asked me to relay our hopefullness for future co-operation between our parties. |

Message | Rt Hon Viscount Townsend MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, this Bill is not in the eyes of our party - beneficial for the people of Hutori. Firstly we are legitimising murder and secondly we are funding every abortion in the Hutorian state! It is also quite rich to hear the government lecturing on religion given they are doing their best to abolish religious practice all across Hutori! Mr Speaker, i am also sure that anti-abortion religions will be less than happy with their taxes funding abortions! This precarious position of pro and anti religion groups in Hutori i hope does not spill out into violence on the streets - especially with the state of emergency laws being abolished. Hutori has had civil disobedience and rioting on religious issues before so i am surprised the government is not taking history into account when making decisions. I would also like to mention that the HCP will stand for those who want religion to play a part in this Hutorian state. Mr Speaker, i would also like to know how the public will take the re-introduction of all these taxes that the HCP removed. I am sure the public will simply love the Liberal Democrats reaching into their pockets and sciphoning off whatever money they can get their grubby hands on. If the HCP gets into office we pledge to remove all "Liberal" taxes and re-introduce a sense of morality back into the Hutorian state. |
