Message | Rt Hon Stephen Myerson MP, Leader of the Labour Party Mr Speaker, we do not believe that past government's should bind the future decisions of others. Therefore we oppose these treaties, not because we have any dislike of stock exchanges or nuclear power, but because we firmly believe in parliamentary sovereignty. |
Date | 11:52:03, June 01, 2011 CET | From | Hutorian Conservative Party | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawal |
Message | Mr Speaker, we see no point. Unless that is a promise from the Labour Party not to vote in favour of changing the status quo on either nuclear power or stock exchanges then we oppose |
