Mr Speaker, this government is based on progressive values. How can we possibly justify 10% corporation tax whilst lower rate taxpayers in Hutori pay 15%? If we are to show the world that we are not a pariah nation we must get tough on monopoly capitalism.

Mr Speaker, this tax rise is silly. The Chancellor is simply trying to dig himself out of a hole because he decided that a massive state is what Hutori needs! What an idiot. The best solution is a small state, low taxes and low public spending. This allows businesses to thrive and the Hutorian economy to grow. That is the best solution not a state command economy, nationalised banks, a massive welfare bill and a Hutorian national health system! Communism simply does not work. Yes it is idealistic but not realistic. The people of Hutori do not want to be messed around as this government tries to reach its unreachable utopia! The simple fact is that this ideology is outdated and impractical. The government should just allow the HCP to run Hutori the way it should be run - properly!

Would the Right Honourable member please refrain from name calling in the House? It is perfectly fine to rubbish an opponent's policies, to demolish and show them to be completely idiotic, but to call another member of the House an idiot is off limits.

Having looked into the Coalition Cabinet legislation (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=306109). I can inform all parties concerned that an abstension DOES NOT constitute a No vote and does not mean a general election is to be called should this Bill fail to gain enough support to be passed through the House.

Mr Speaker, I accept the Right Honourable member's apology. However, I do not accept the premise that what we are introducing communism. Communism is a system where capitalism does not exist, and where 100% of profits would go to the state. What we are creating is a mixed economy where the excesses of capitalism are tempered by the strong hand of the state, which redistributes wealth and restricts the evils of monopoly.

Mr Speaker, the Right Honourable member is just upset because his pals in big business would lose a small part of their billions because of this legislation. We suggest the Right Honourable member try living below the poverty line for a while, to see if he still supports low corporation taxes then!

Mr Speaker, i have already been told things like this before and i shall answer them the same way i answered Liberal Democrat questions before. I am not nor will i be a pal of "big business". I was from a middle class Bekenial family. I am far from a landed lord! Of all the HCP MP's there are seven who have previously been working in "big business" and we are far from a big business party. We advocate business as the catalyst for economic growth. Lower corporation tax means that small businesses can expand by re-investing profits - that is the real reason why we advocate such low corporation tax. Not so big business owners have more money!

Mr Speaker, we believe that there needs to be a reigning in of certain communist aspects of the Labour/Lib Dem government policy. Issues such as banks. I could appreciate having a central bank and the rest private. I do not appreciate all but small scale banks in the hands of the state and i ask Labour to consider this policy towards the banks. I cannot stress how important i believe this issue to be.

Mr Speaker, i believe that low taxes, low public spending and the small state allow all businesses to flourish - not just big businesses. The Chancellor can look at our record. On infrastructure we have prevented monopolies where possible and we try to create market competition where possible. I am sure he can clarify this. I cannot stress again how important these issues are to myself and this party. I hope he will join me in a Bank Reform Act that i will soon be proposing.

The national polities of the modern world maintain their existence by deliberately fostered craving and fear: monstrous protection rackets. The 'free world' has become economically dependent on a fantastic system of stimulation of greed which cannot be fulfilled, sexual desire which cannot be satiated and hatred which has no outlet except against oneself, the persons one is supposed to love, or the revolutionary aspirations of pitiful, poverty-stricken marginal societies like Cuba or Vietnam. The conditions of the Cold War have turned all modern societies - communist included - into vicious distorters of man's true potential." - Gary Snyder
