Bill: (3142) Proposal to re-think the organ donations
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dorvik Christlich Partai
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3131
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, My esteemed collegues. The Christlich Partai wishes to begin a debate regarding organ donations. Currently our policy is that organ donations are legal with personal consent. The Christlich Partai wishes to alter this policy so that unless otherwise stated, consent for donation is assumed to be favorable. This is important, when it is looked from the angle: Love thy neighbour. Furthermore, as the Honourable Gentleman of the Volkspartied pointed out in the earlier debate that choice is the key. In this proposal it is still possible to excersice the right for a choice by forbidding it. The Christlich Partai, however, also wants to point out that it would be such a waste, if person were to die and his or her organs could not be used to help others, because the person, who died just had not got around to it yet to make his or her consent known. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Volkspartei fully supports this bill. It is fully in line with our policy of choice, as the CP fully shows people have the choice to step out. Furthermore, this would ensure that the time people wait on organ transplant will be massively cut, and this is - without a doubt - a good thing. As such, Mr Speaker, we will support this bill. Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
