The privatisation of the national grid would see greatly decreased loses from inefficiency and bereaucratic mismanagement. The existing state-funded national grid would be sold of to a variety of private investors who would be responsible for its upkeep. During the sale of sections of the grid a monopoly comission would ensure that the grid was not dominated by a very small number of large developers. |
