| Message | The ideal proposal from an SDMEP point of view would be a balance of tax increases and spending cuts. We would consider voting for this budget, though, as nothing seems really underfunded when you consider that we've passed things like co-payments and some decentralization. We like that education is the one area that actually gets an increase. |

| Message | The population has decreased significantly since the last time the budget has been debated, and even then it didn't really account for the huge drop in population numbers. Ikradon has shrunk to be about 11% of what it used to be a century or more ago, but the budget hasn't shrunk nearly as much. And still now, the education & culture, the finance department, the science & technology department and the finance department received more spending, and the health & social services department has also not dropped too much, |
