Date | 17:31:35, July 18, 2011 CET | From | Rutanian Supremacist League | To | Debating the Extensive Reform Legislation 3153 |
Message | Mr Speaker, Rutanian parliamentary guidelines state that bills must be small and their contents closely related. If a bill has 3 proposals a party do not like and 2 proposals a party do like, they shall be forced to vote it down because the negative aspects of the bill outweigh the positive ones. That is why, like gentlemen, parties have agreed not to make long, heterogeneous bills. Reginald Blackburn, RSL Chief Parliamentarian |
Date | 20:25:34, July 18, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Extensive Reform Legislation 3153 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Perhaps such guidelines should be little more readily available for newer parties like ours to refer to. Robert W. Rockefeller, Leader of the NIP. |
Date | 20:32:20, July 18, 2011 CET | From | Urban Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Extensive Reform Legislation 3153 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The Rutanian people will not accept another omnibus bill shoved down there throats by the inexperienced NIP. I suggest the NIP and their legislators take a refresher course on the rules of the parliament before they ever submit another bill before this legislature. Jim Ryan (Delvar-Kalimatna) UPR Congressional Leader |
Date | 21:10:06, July 18, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Extensive Reform Legislation 3153 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, I can not recall the last time our party introduced an omnibus bill onto the parliament floor. And as I've already said, I wish the "experienced" parties would frame a new parliamentary etiquette that includes all the guidelines that are not already included in the current version so that newer parties would act accordingly as the URP insists. Robert W. Rockefeller, Leader of the NIP. |
Date | 14:13:12, July 19, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Union | To | Debating the Extensive Reform Legislation 3153 |
Message | Mr Speaker, We oppose article 3 but support the other articles. We shall vote in favour but shall propose the prohibition of landmines once again. Tom Manning CDU Leader |
