Bill: Freedom to Love Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Democrats
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3161
Description[?]:
It is astonishing that again this House has decided to deny gay people the freedom to love who they want. Under the present law, a man has more right to have sex with a dog or a goat than he does to have sex, and I believe that is the most degrading and disgusting circumstance. |

Message | Rt Hon Duke Townsend MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, we reject this Bill in its entirety. I believe we should keep the status quo and keep the governments moral stance proper and correct. I believe under the proposed we would be setting a terrible law and would ruin Hutorian society as we know it. Hutorians nationwide celebrated as we passed the Traditional Values Act and we will strive to ensure they will celebrate the rejection of this Bill! |
Date | 13:23:41, August 03, 2011 CET | From | Liberal Democrats | To | Debating the Freedom to Love Act |
Message | Rt Hon Hector James MP, Prime Minister, Mr Speaker, this is a key policy, and we will be reproposing this in due course. It is just appalling that a man can sleep with a goat, but two men who love eachother cannot have sex if they want to? |
