MessageSome of this party's reasons for disagreeing are as follows. In regards to Article 1: We feel healthcare is a right and not a privledge to be determined by the market. In regards to Article 2: We feel theres no reason to legalize all recreational drug use as its positive benefits do not outweight the negatives as opposed to banning most of them. The black market is much smaller than the mass market.

MessageRecreational drug use is dangerous for all people, and medical care should be available to all people without cost- suffering a loss in quality of life simply as a result of medical bills is a travesty that should be prevented.

MessageTo the PPP: You have absolutely no idea of the nature of a right. Saying that healthcare is a right completely negates the right of the provider. Would you also propose that you have a "right" to have your dinner cooked and put on your table? We could easily institute slave labor and you could have a "right" to all services if you so desire, haircuts, tailoring, even sex if you are feeling frisky.

PIP: Recreational drug use is dangerous when, like any other activity, is engaged in neglegently. Why should we punish everyone for the negligence of a few?

MessageIf healthcare is a right it does not in any way negate the rights of provider because the provider is this democratically elected institution we call the government and through it, the public. Thus, through their democratically elected government the public provides for themselves. Additionally, it is not a right by any means for the healthcare industry to be regulated by a utopian free market you think exists.

Has this party ever proposed such things, no it has not. Therefore, this silly comment is completely irrelevent and not supportive of the idea that by providing universal healthcare we are oppressing the provider. Considering the fact that your party feels that animals exist to serve Humans, it seems your party would be the first to consider slavery an acceptable institution.

MessageThe People's Progressive Party may be a little dense, so maybe these points could crash through to their supporters:

---------------------------------------------------------------

Ladies and Gentlemen, this has been a long standing point of contention amongst this government. As usual the ACF has met nearly unanimous opposition in the fight for freedom. Because of this, we turn to the Gaduri people, to explain our position.

The government, no matter what the PPP says, does not actually provide healthcare, it pays for it. You will NOT be able to approach your local state deputy and recieve a prostate exam, unless he is from the National Fascisti. Do NOT enter your local city hall and ask the City Treasurer you voted for to administer a flu shot.

Both of those individuals will instruct you to see what is called a "doctor". These "doctors" are men and women who, both freely and honorably, chose to devote their life to learning the innerworkings of the human body so that they could further advance the way they could heal the sick. What the PPP wishes to propose takes these doctors and tells them who they can administer to, what treatments they can administer, and how much they will get paid for their service. They take away our doctors' freedom, and leave them only their honor. Is this any way to treat a group as precious to our society as doctors?

The PPP also seems to be completely oblivious to the meaning of what we hold so dear: "rights". We are quite unsure as to what definition the PPP applies to the word, but we are relatively sure it is incorrect. Because of this, let me give you the ACF's definition of rights:

A person's rights are all that one is entitled to do by his or her very existence. You obtain your rights upon birth, and they are only limited by those around and one's own ability. They are the building blocks of freedom, they are the gears of autonomy, they are the beams of individuality.

Now, with that said, the only entity that can possess rights is the individual, you. As an individual and citizen of this nation, please remember that only you can hold rights, that government and industries do not have rights, they can only seek to take your rights away. The PPP may say that the government "has the right" to assume all healthcare provision, but all government is doing is using its power to remove the right of the doctors to use their labor in whatever way they see fit. The PPP also mischaracterizes our position as giving industry the right to be regulated by free markets, it is not about industry, it is about the individual. We believe that the right should be held by the individual to work in whatever way he or she sees fit, and to not be bound by government or others who may try to oppress him.

It seems that these powers of oppression that PPP wishes to give to government under the disguise of rights may be limitless, judging from their actions and statements within this government. To the mechanics, who wish to continue to choose the cars upon which you work and the repairs you make, you should take the results of this bill seriously. To the barbers and hairdresser who wish to continue to choose what hair the cut and what styles you learn and give, you should take this bill seriously. To the musicians who wish to choose what instruments and songs you play, you should take this bill seriously.

To all of those who love making what they make, doing what they do, living how they live, and most importantly, making all of those decisions freely, please take this bill seriously.
