Bill: Insuring Critical Services Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Liberal Movement

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3165

Description[?]:

The Liberal Party believes that members of certain professions are crucial to society, and while we believe in their freedom to fight for better services and protections - we cannot see the nation as a whole suffer from their absence. We believe that this bill strikes a balance, allowing the workers voices to be heard, while preventing the damages that their complete loss would strike us with.

Indeed, the minimal service clause could do the striking workers a benefit - showing just how much we really need the industry, and the need to support it and its hard working Deltarians.

This bill has been proposed in multiple other bills prior to this, and has received independent support, even if the bill it was attached to was found to be given a negative vote. This bill is designed to rectify this situation and bring this important service into national law.

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag
