Bill: Political Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Legend Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3165
Description[?]:
1) This is to allow bills to be complete without having to wait. Too many times i have tried to propose a bill but did not have enough proposals and if i waited it would be too late to vote before the election. This does not impact the actual decision making- we still vote the same. 2) i made an argument for this before so please reference that if you wish. 3) This is to insure a government can finish everything it intends to during t's term, for example if they have begun international talks. if they are doing anything particularly wrong we can call for early elections. |

Message | This is outrageous! The new government intends to, having won the election, double the length of their term? The current term length of the Senate has been on the book for centuries and they dare change it now? Granted, the leftists have just won a great victory, but are they afraid of what the people will say four years from now? -Nicholas Kirkwood Leader of the Commonwealth Party |

Message | The SDLP has been a good ally in many legislative fights, so we will take it into consideration. Right now, we are busy trying to form a new government and once this issue is settled we will place our vote. |
