Message"Genesis 2:15 "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. "

Deuteronomy 10:14 "Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens [is] the LORD'S thy God, the earth [also], with all that therein [is]. "

Leviticus 19:9-10 "And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather [every] grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I [am] the LORD your God. "

Luke 12:42-4 "And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season? Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. "

The scripture is quite clear that nothing belongs to us - it all belongs to the Lord, our God - and that we are absolutely expected to be good and careful stewards. Moreover, we are specifically called to regulate our consumption and acquisition of natural resources. (Leviticus 19). God is not a man, that He deceives - there is no trick. We are called upon to be good stewards, not to waste or use for personal greed."

Message"Regardless of theological mandates, it is simple that when we have a limited resource such as this - we have to manage it so that it remains sustainable, so that gluttonous behaviour from certain interests does not make it so that the populations of these animals cannot recover. We must establish and maintain quotas in this area so that we can respect the need for these resources into the future."

MessageThis is proof that scripture contradicts itself. What am I going to believe? The Word of God Version I or the Word of God-Revised Edition?

Message"The Thatcherite Alliance see confusion where there is none. The over-arching theme of the scripture is being 'a good steward'. That means every aspect of your life. It's the theme that explains monotheism - you can't serve two master. It's the theme that explains belief by faith - the Spirit is an investment. It's the theme that dictates how the Christian is supposed to manage resources.

Genesis gives dominion over animals to mankind, but God still owns them. It's his herd we're tending and we're expected to be good stewards of it. There's no conflict in the scripture - only in understanding it."
