Message | The corporate tax was the only reason, till MEP stepped in at Finace, Cobura made money. no taxation=less funding or no money. We want to spend more, and i know the ZP wants to spend more but how can we when ZP won't allow the simplist of Taxes? |

Message | Tax the individual rich person more. We have no bosses in our workplaces so now we must equalise the rich with our workers and loot their houses! These people deserve to have triple firgure taxation, not double! How dare they sell and buy our workers like little sheep to the slaughter! We are beginning to believe the more we see Capitalism in our faces the less we need taxation! Triple figure taxation for the rich! |

Message | we wouldbe taxing the rich if you'd let them own buisnesses which will make much more then a bunch of workers. We are eliminating the Rich which lowers that amount of revenue we produce which fucks over the coburan people because your socalist policies are all about being poor and worthless |
Date | 04:18:00, November 23, 2005 CET | From | Zapatista Party | To | Debating the Coporation Tax Hike |
Message | Nope. How exactly do you come to that conclusion? Whats 'poor and worthless' about equal distribution of a workplaces wealth? Absolutely nothing! This is bringing the workers one step closer to reaping the rewards they so grately deserve! |
Date | 04:25:17, November 23, 2005 CET | From | Modern Economic Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Coporation Tax Hike |
Message | everything becuase arrocind to your party taxation=bad yet its the only our government gets any money. Plus everyone will be equally poor and worthless because everything in cobura will be poor and worthless. MEP knows what is needed to make Cobura good and starts with the death of the ZP and GRP. the BGP was and forever will be better then anything the ZP or GRP has done, CSP has done better things then the ZP, that is how horrible your socalist policies are. |

Message | The BGP stepped down in order to fight Capitalism with a more hands on approach, and thats exactly what the ZP is doing! The workers are never 'worthless' and only poor under Capitalism where the class gap is so huge. No class = no poor. LET LIBERTARIAN-COMMUNISM LIVE! |

Message | Corporate taxation is simply indirect taxation of the individual. Contrary to common belief, businesses -- whether owned directly by the workers or by shareholders -- do not have a limitless supply of funds. The additional cost incurred by this tax hike would have to be transfered somehow. Bussinesses could cut worker wages or benefits, burdening workers. However, this isn\'t likely to happen as wages are generally sticky downward (and all the DWCs the ZP claims are running the Coruban economy are not likely to cut their own salaries). Businesses could increase prices, but then we would burden the consumer and face all the costs associated with inflation. Finally, businesses could cut their profits, but what would that actually mean? It would mean lower reatined earnings and lower dividends. Retained earnings are used for expanding the business -- by decreasing them, you are taking away money that would have been used to purchase capital like new facilities, machinery and labor (wages). By preventing the business from expanding, you are also hurting the employees that would have been otherwise hired in the new facilities. By cutting dividends, you are indirectly taxing shareholders, but you also lower the desirability of stock. If a stock\'s value falls, the company is unable to sell any new stock, which means it can\'t raise any new funds, followed by the same opportunity costs as lowering retained earnings.\r\n\r\nThe NFP has little concern for the poor -- we oppose this proposal based solely on the potential costs to our base, the shareholders -- however, other parties who claim to champion the wellbeing of the working class may want to consider the above implications before voting. |
