Message | Rt Hon Andrew Vine MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, this again is a disgrace. Hutori should never use tactics of torture. This, yet again is more ULF communist brutality towards the people. Are the ULF proposing this out of revenge because no-one voted for them? Mr Speaker, i urge the Prime Minister - who we know would never authorise such tactics - to remove the ULF from his Cabinet. They are now quite obvious brutal extremists with designs on mass infringement of liberty in Hutori and if they were in my government i would resign and form a new ULF free Cabinet. |

Message | Rt Hon C. Morris Wormeley MP, Leader of the HRF Mr Speaker, torture is not as evil as it is commonly supposed to be. Not only is torture useful in obtaining critical information, but in some cases, such as the threat of terrorism, it is just and ought to be done. Hutori should not be discouraged from adopting torture just because other nations look down on it. Hutori is her own nation and is not subject to the whims of foreigners. |

Message | Rt Hon Zachary White MP, Speaker of the House of Parliament, I will state to the House that when asked, a Cabinet member is obliged to answer questions put to him by the Opposition parties. Quite clearly stated in the Constitution in Article 11, point four; "Opposition parties have the right to summon any government minister to answer a question on government policy. The Minister is obligated to answer the question as soon as they are possible". This constitutional arrangement was signed by all parties - including the ULF - so they must have read it and knew the terms. So i would urge the ULF Cabinet member to put forward an acceptable answer before he has to receive a punishment for failing to carry out his ministerial duties and punishments can range from anything from a financial fine to being de-selected as an MP. Thank you. |
