Old value:: The government introduces means tested loans for higher education tuition, to be paid back by students after earnings reach a certain amount.
Current: The government subsidizes higher education tuition to a certain amount, the rest is covered by the individual students. This includes scholarship programs.
Proposed: The government fully subsidizes tuition.

Message | Mr Speaker, this is unsustainable and unrealistic. The current system provided all people - regardless of stature with funding for higher education - but i suppose its nice to know that the upper classes children no longer need to waste their money on education. |
