Bill: Criminal Rehabilitation Support Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Liberal Movement
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3191
Description[?]:
Through the implementation of this new policy - the Liberal Party of Deltaria wishes to enforce our belief that the justice system in this nation must be focused around rehabilitation, and making sure that criminals are capable of existing in the outside world once released. We must assist in giving them the skills to do so, and by offering a real work situation over unrealistic forced labour, we can give these people a chance to make things better for themselves, free from being forced to crime to pay the bills once freed. |

Message | Yes, we like this. It promotes productivity and helps build a nice little stash of money to easily help prisoners meld back into society once released. |

Message | We reject this proposal, prison Is a punishment not a jobs fair. P It is a deterrent because it is bad and we musnt turn our prison system into a jobs program. Anyone who is there clearly deserves punishment not a paycheck. James Tote Whig Forum Leader |
