LDP-Außenpolitikerin Clarice von Eindhoven verlangt eine Abkehr vom Protektionismus in der Außenpolitik der Bundesrepublik: "Im Zuge der Globalisierung gilt es, starres Nationalstaatsdenken zu überwinden und uns dem internationalen Waren- und Personenverkehr zu öffnen. Leider gibt es die Tendenz, eine stärke kosmopolitisch ausgerichtete Außenpolitik als Bedrohung zu sehen, anstatt die Chancen zu nutzen, die sich aus ihr ergeben. Die Abschaffung von Zöllen ist ein wesentlicher Schritt, uns das dynamische wirtschaftliche Potential der Globalisierung zu Nutzen zu machen. Natürlich wird dies zunächst eine Belastungsprobe für die heimischen Betriebe, da sie momentan durch übermäßige staatliche Regulierung höchst ineffizient wirtschaften, doch wir werden nicht darum herum kommen, unsere Wirtschaft sukzessive auf die Regeln des freien Wettbewerbs einzustellen. Am Ende des Tages wird eine liberale Wirtschaftspolitik zu einem Mehr an Wohlstand führen. Gleichzeitig bedarf es einer freizügigeren Einwanderungspolitik, die die demographische Überalterung und die daraus resultierenden Probleme für die heimische Wirtschaft zu kompensieren vermag. Deshalb soll jedem leistungswilligen Einwanderer die Möglichkeit gegeben werden, sich eine Existenz in der Bundesrepublik aufzubauen. Natürlich muss dies auch mit einer entsprechenden Lockerung der Grenzkontrollen einhergehen, um gleichzeitig den Tourismus anzukurbeln. Die LDP nimmt hiermit eine Änderung ihrer Statuten vor, indem sie die bisher propagierte repressive Linie in der Einwanderungspolitik dem von der Globalisierung vorgebenen Rahmen anpasst." |
