MessageMr Speaker,

The Demokraten cannot support this bill in it's present form. We feel that Article 1 is too aggressive and we would prefer to see this changed to "The government leaves this decision upto the schools themselves". We also see no harm in having an official state religion provided that it is not forced upon anyone and so we do not support article 2. Therefore, we shall not support this bill.

MessageRepresentative of the Demokratische Partei,

That is the crux of this bill, sir. The very fact that teacher-lead prayers in school are sanctioned in itself makes membership to the state religion compulsory. It is our duty to fix the law so that all our people are free to live and choose whether or not they wish to worship.

MessageMister speaker,

The first article is what the Konservative Reichspartei can not agree with, we believe that forbidding religion on schools, no matter what they are called, is too much. We therefore agree with the Demokraten that this should be decided by the schools. The second article, however, has our full support. That should be the choice of the individual, not the state. Because article 1 does not match us, we are forced to vote no.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
