| Message | Heh, like they understand love. It's much like two teenagers in love... do they love eachother, or their looks? There are the cases, where it was love....but why should we make special loves to protect the minority? They can just as easily trick the system, and marry a lesbian, but live with his partner if he's so desperate. But otherwise, it's not marriage...marriage has always been 1 man 1 woman.\, in every culture around the world. It's only recently, people have decided to play with the idea, of allowing same-sex marriages. Trust me, you allow that, and someday there will be people lobbying for Polygamy, and children...and animals....and objects. It may sound far-fetched, but this is what happens, when you allow a huge civil rights boost, when not needed. I can just imagine, you down in the road as a 70 yr old man, and being called a conservative, just because you think those ideas are stupid and would ruin society. |

| Message | What is all that supposed to mean? Marrying children used to be legal, and several of those fine religious leaders you support yourselves on did that. The other stuff, I might be the one supporting those things, if anyone wanted them. Just because you think something is stupid doesn't mean it should be outlawed. What was stupid 100 years ago is accepted today. (racial/gender equality for example). And the current law does not say it is marriage, it says marriage contracts, so in case you have a personal problem with that word you can stop worrying now. |

| Message | I do not belive in contracts.... to me, when i visualize marriage, it is between 1 man and 1 woman in holy matrimony. If they do not want to go through that process, because of money issues or w/e. Let them pick up the paper instead. And what was stupid 100 years ago, is only called that, due to ignorance. It was thought that Heroin was an all-miracle cure, not it proven to be nothing but a deadly drug. People saw themselves that Slavery was horrid for a big country, as you would need alot of slaves to do the work. As for racial segregation and Apartheid, i understand what was intentioned, unfortuantly it went horridly bad, and led to racism. |

| Message | Why do straight people marry? For the same reasons gay people want to. It is not sufficient to "marry a lesbian" and live next door to the partner. You obviously believe that since you do not find a person of the same sex romatically attractive that no one else can. You condescend to say its like teenage love, well plenty of people marry their teenage love. You sound to me like somebody who has very little to no personal exposure to gay people and therefore are immensely unqualified to make any judgment in this regard. |

Or is it actually something in their hormones that makes them do that. Well i can't speak for the ones in your region, but the ones in my area do. |

| Message | I've known plenty of gay people, some talk that way others don't. I don't even see why its an issue. No matter how people talk they're still people no better or worse than you for it. I've always thought it was a generally subconscious way of letting people know they're gay without having to tell them, since its not something that is constantly obvious like race. |
