Bill: Act to Reform National Health Care Policies
Details
Submitted by[?]: Animal Rights Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3201
Description[?]:
It has come to the Party's attention that the public health care system has flaws, and our constituents have expressed concern with the policy. 1. Abortions should be done only in medical emergencies, although we do not support abortion on grounds of religion. 2. Funding for abortion should be a State matter, not federal. 3. Health care in the private sector shall be paid for by the State for low-income citizens. 4. Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner, and is legal in government-owned buildings. (Recent health research has shown us smoking is healthy without nicotine.) Our constituents wish these matters be dealt with immediately. |
