Bill: Call for early elections, August 3203
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party [SDP]
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: April 3204
Description[?]:
Barring a miracle, it is highly unlikely that a coalition government can be formed, and, as the people of Aloria deserve a government, we propose new elections with the hope that one group of paries gains enough support to form a coalition. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | It's hasn't been a year (game-time) since the last election, and now you want to conduct elections now? This is just going to promote political instability. Give the President a chance to work his job, and wait for the next election. |

Message | So quick to say so. The problem is every cabinet proposal has failed, and we, the members of the party that is required to actually form a cabinet assuming the FRP doesn't come back, are not going to form a coalition with the DPA. This is a party that has legalized nukes for crying out loud. Better short term political instability than long term lack of government. |

Message | I fully back the SDP, we need to resist the DPA. This party is acting as though they were the only ones on the political stage. |

Message | Also, we think that not having a working cabinet would breed just as much political instability, or some slight tendancies towards one party taking control of the political stage. Neither of which is good for the people of Aloria. We of the SDP wonder if there would be enough support in the other left parties, The New Left Party and the libertarian alliance, for a public alliance, aimed at bettering the country |
Date | 09:02:59, October 27, 2011 CET | From | New Marxist Party [NMP] | To | Debating the Call for early elections, August 3203 |
Message | The New Left Party is ready to ally with the Social Democratic Party. |
Date | 12:27:35, October 27, 2011 CET | From | Democratic Party of Aloria [DPA] | To | Debating the Call for early elections, August 3203 |
Message | Are you guys really that immature as to say I'm acting as if I'm the only one there? If you wat to leave go right ahead, im just playing the game. If I wat to vote no on every single bill you propose I can do that. I started out as a small party too and worked my way up. You both need to learn to grow up |

Message | Geez people, calm down. It's only a game. Get over it. |

Message | Oh and I agree with the SDP's proposal to form an alliance. |
