This ban is based on the rational fact that smoking is optional and breathing is not. Therefore, this smoking ban exist to protect employers from the effects of second-hand smoke, which include an increased risk of heart disease, cancer, emphysema, and other diseases.

MessageThe SED will support this initiative. The Government should protect its workers. Moreover, this measure will reduce health costs as well. Apparently, the LDP is not interested in the financial benefit either.
