MessageAt present Adoption is illegal in the Independent Wantuni Republic, the Wantuni Commonwealth Party, feels this is unfair, inhumane and cruel position for the Government to adopt. While acknowledging that children must be protected at any cost and for this reason proposing a strenuous, government run, background and ability check; the W.C.P. does not feel that a blanket ban on adoption is in the best interests of the children or of parents - either adoptive or natural. We strongly commend this Bill to the Parliament of the Independent Wantuni Republic.
