Message | Mr. William Hook, Liberal Leader, Mr. Speaker, again this government has put forth a motion that offers something to support and oppose. While Liberals sympathize with the plight of exploited sex workers, we cannot allow their abuse to go on. In this we are in agreement with the prime minister. Homosexuality, in this day and age, is not something to be shunned. Recent reports from the Defence Department have proven that combat performance and morale have remained at optimal levels despite open homosexuality. We have been a tolerant people traditionally, let us not allow this government to bring us back into the dark ages. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
