Message | Just to clarify: Sales tax inevietably effects the poor more than the rich. Businesses have to shift the profit losses due to taxation somewhere; and those losses are inevietably placed on the lowest level workers. This means that they are either laid-off or given wage cuts. If minimum wage restrictions are imposed, the businesses will just fire their excess lower level employees. The passage of this bill will help the lowest level citizens of Telamon. We can all disagree about prostitution, but if the government just turns a blind eye to it, everyone can be happy. |

Message | Whoa...oO 1. #1 & 3, i don't know...we do need money for the government. And i don't think the tax is so big. 2. #2 is there to prevent the hemp to be used for recreational drug purposes...your allowed to use it for anything else. 3. I might agree to no provisions for minimum wage. 4. Yes your right....but i don't want the government to turn a blind eye either, i'd rather it was cracked down, and the girls found actual jobs beneficial to society. |

Message | 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. No, we need some type of income. Sales tax is much better than Income tax. You only are taxed on what you buy. It helps the poor much better especially since it is only a luxury tax. Only expensive stuff the poor dont buy is taxed. 4. No, this will only lead to poverty due to places like Walmart that pay shit wages as it is now with a minimum wage. 5. Hell Yes. |

Message | 1. No - i support the lowering of taxes, but at the moment we can't abolish it as we need some income. 2. We agree with the CPT 3. No - same reason as for 1 4. I do understand your reasoning but I do believe that government has an obligation to ensure that it helps the poorest in society. therefore I can support reducing the minimum wage, but not abolishing it 5. No, as like the IP we believe that it is pointless legalising it unless it is recognised as a profession |
