Message | Rt Hon Alfred Scargill, Leader of the Opposition Mr Speaker, this legislation is only the first part of our incoming government's programme. This will ensure that every Hutorian child is educated well and that nobody in Hutori will die because they cannot afford to buy medical care. Mr Speaker, we propose the creation of national media channels to ensure that quality content is on offer. At present the ridiculously commercial nature of the media means educational programmes are few and far between. This provision of quality programming will do much for the well-being of Hutori as a whole. |

Message | Mr. Speaker; I never knew that the Socialist Party needed an official governmental TV station to brainwash the people with? Perhaps this is a sign for the future. |

Message | Rt Hon Duke Owens MP, Hutorian Conservative Party Leader, Mr Speaker, we will say it again and again, socialism is not an ideological stance entered into freely. People have to be coerced and now brainwashed through state-sponsored propaganda. At least we know know the true colours of the FHP - who are nothing but the poodles of the socialist party. Mr Speaker, the FHP are, as we thought....spineless. Propping up a deluded government. They claim to be a "centre" party but here they are propping up the extreme-left. Disgraceful... |

Message | Rt Hon John Klugg MP, Foreign Secretary Mr Speaker, we had a choice at the election- to support a socialist party, or a fascist coalition with the IU, we chose what we considered to be the best of a bad bunch |
Date | 20:40:31, December 02, 2011 CET | From | United Civic Alliance | To | Debating the Nationalisation Act |
Message | No Mr. Klugg; You had a choice between betraying your voters, or staying out of the government. You sold yourselves for one cabinet position. |

Message | Rt Hon Duke Owens MP, Hutorian Conservative Party Leader, Mr Speaker, by what definition is either the HCP/IU "fascist"? Whenever we had 100% control of Parliament we did not implement anything that was fascist. We kept torture illegal, limited the powers of the police, separation of police and the army and granted all workers the right to strike.....hardly fascist? Mr Speaker, the FHP are simply a party of opportunism.....they have shown they have no moral centre....no spine and no ability whatsoever to stand up for their own beliefs. Instead whenever PM Scargill says jump they say how high? They say they are a centrist party? Then why have no central political reforms been made and just left wing policies implemented? Because Mr Speaker, they DO NOT stand up for what they were elected to do. They roll over at the whims of the Prime Minister and that makes a total mockery of the democratic system we live in. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
