MessageRight Honorable David Smith, Liberal finance minister

Mr. Speaker, this new budget will greatly increase the funding to our nation's hospitals and schools, allowing those disenfranchised under the previous Tory regime to actually have medical treatment and a free public education. Not only does this provide these valuable social services, it will also result in thousands of new, well-paying jobs for our citizens. Our surplus will be at least 6,000,000,000, how much larger it will be hard to ascertain until corporate and luxury tax alterations are signed into law by Her Majesty.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
