| The Ba'ath Majatran Socialist Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Sultanate of Al'Badara. Based on recent international events the need for a strong military can not be over-emphasised. As we currently have a massive surplus, we feel it is more efficient to spend the money on defence, however we have still left a smaller surplus in case of a crisis. We also propose that military spending is to be 60% naval, 30% air force and 10% army. This is based upon the obvious need for more money for the navy (battleships cost more than bullets), and also our strategic position. As an island, a strong navy backed by a strong air force should keep us safe. |
