Mr Speaker, this Bill is a disgrace to the Hutorian way of life. Does the FHP now realise what dangerous extremist parties it has allied itself to? This Bill would see price rises on an impossible to predict scale. The state would eliminate competition bar itself. Then it could charge whatever it wanted - holding people to ransom etc. If this Bill is accepted then the Hutorian state will implode under the weight of propping up an entire economic system. This then means higher taxes for everyone - meaning higher prices again and its a vicious circle.

Mr Speaker, socialism does not work and our brand of conservatism might not be the most ideal system but at least it can function in the real world. Hutorians will become sick of this government and i believe that if the FHP has any self-respect left - it will decide to leave this communist government and form a government that will ensure economic stability rather than economic destruction.

MessageRt Hon Alfred Scargill, Prime Minister of Hutori

Mr Speaker, the Right Honourable member opposite is just angry that he himself has no chance of getting on the levers on power for an entire generation! His party drove this country to the dogs, let children starve in the street and left our economy ill prepared by not funding education! Since his party left office life expectancy has started to rise (thanks to the NHS) and the literacy rate is climbing back up to decent levels.

Mr Speaker, the people of Hutori will never trust the Right Honourable member again. His system was not only not ideal, it was a regressive system that took Hutorians back to the middle ages. This is why I am confident our party has the full support of Hutorians in its nationalisation programme, and we will doubtless be rewarded by them in the next election.

Mr Speaker, just a typical response from the Prime Minister....he doesnt even debate the issue he just launches slurs on other, more respected members of the House - former Prime Ministers Koner and myself.

Mr Speaker, he says his party has the full support? This Bill doesnt have the required support at the moment to pass! He doesnt have the support of Parliament to pass his ridiculous reforms. This Bill is one the people will hold in contempt. Furthermore, i would not call capitalism a "regressive" system - it allows all to prosper - whereas communism - the PM's ideology of choice - allows no-one to prosper because apparently all must be equal....equally as poor as each other not equally as rich. Whereas Capitalism permits others to do well and reach the levels of the rich, socialism brings the rich down to the levels of the poor with no improvements in living standards anywhere!

Mr Speaker, the Prime Minister is deluded. His ideology flawed. His own coalition government is beginning to fall apart. He cannot control the Foreign Secretary....Mr Speaker, is there anything the Prime Minister can do right?

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
