Message | We hope there will be some support for this. Increased levels of foreign investment is desperately needed to offset the busniesses leaving after the disastrous increase in Corporation Tax! |

Message | We've said it before and we'll say it again: businesses are not leaving Hutori because of the Corporation tax. It is simply not occuring. Business in Hutori is going fine. However, we do agree that it is in the interests of the people to allow for full foreign investment. |

Date | 23:39:32, December 11, 2005 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Amendment to the Foreign Investments Law |
Message | Free trade is the only way to increase trade and therefore increase employment. Allow investment and you create a reason for the foreign interests to look after the workers, (otherwise they loose money). Good management is that that looks after the worker as the most expensive commodity in modern industry. Such investment takes time and commitment and so is self serving. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
