Bill: Aid to Foreign Countries
Details
Submitted by[?]: Left Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 3235
Description[?]:
Countries in need are countries in need. Labour sees no reason to hold back our resources when people see their own nation crumble, and dozens of people die before their eyes. Besides, disasters don't happen very often on this scale, so we won't lose that much, but our foreign relations and international status will surely improve. So in our eyes, we don't lose anything at all. |

Message | "The current law gives money to poorer nations. So we spend, when money is needed. What is wrong with getting something back? The whole world is about give and take. That is what we also should stick with" - Kim Debkowski, President and PfI-chairwoman |
Date | 16:42:43, December 28, 2011 CET | From | Left Party | To | Debating the Aid to Foreign Countries |
Message | If all nations do as we do, then there will not be anything left for the ones in need. Alright, small amounts of money will be collected from different countries, and given to the ones that need it, but that's not enough. In addition, we should not take anything from those who have less than ourselves, putting them in an even worse situation, and ourselves in a better one. |

Date | 02:56:36, December 29, 2011 CET | From | Social Congress | To | Debating the Aid to Foreign Countries |
Message | You aren't "giving" money to those in need if you take in return! You are buying their products! These countries have already been failed by the free market, they need charity and investment! |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America). |
