MessageAbortion is luxury and has to be paid by those who want it. The state should only pay for those who need to abort!

MessageBut when the family is a low income-family, do you think they can afford to have another child??? So then it's either losing lots of money over time, or right now. It's a lose-lose situation. They lose no matter what, so the most profitable thing to do for them would be to kill their child when it is born, isn't it??? The right should think further.

MessageWhen they are on low income they sould think before having unsafe sex. Everyone may do what he wants, but the state shall not pay for this.

Message^ *facepalm*

By that logic, they need only plea that the condom broke and the PfI would support their case for abortion funding.

MessageHow does that follow?

We agree with the PfI.
Abortion is not wrong in medical emergencies, and the state has an obligation to provide funding in such cases, just as the state has an obligation to cover other medical emergencies. However, we see no reason why we ought to fund abortions for certain individuals because they are poor and abortion is not critical to health. If these people do not want to have children, there is a very simple and very cheap method of avoiding it.

The current law is fine.

Message"Really, if the lower orders don't set us a good example, what on earth is the use of them? They seem, as a class, to have absolutely no sense of moral responsibility. (I.17" - Algenon, The Importance of Being Earnest.

Written ironically in the lat 19th century, but an idea that is alive and well in Cobura?

MessageOh my goodness, I love that play. I bought an entire book of Wilde plays just to have that one, before I realized I didn't like most of his other works. Have you seen the recent movie version? They did a very good job at it!
