Date | 23:20:16, December 31, 2011 CET | From | Social Congress | To | Debating the Proposal to raise sales tax |
Message | The Social Congress would support a rise in the mid to higher bands of Income Tax to cut the surplus, but not of the regressive sales tax. |

Message | We don't like the sales tax, but we'll support for the budget deficit. I would rather decrease spending or rework the income tax system though. Although this will probably be left for the next legislative session. |

Message | I'll propose a decrease on spending as well, until we get on top of things. Maybe I'm the only one that would like this ideology, but for the long term I'd love to see no income tax at all(or at least alot lower), and an increase in sales tax, so people get taxed on what they purchase, not what they make. Don't shoot me haha any thoughts on that? |

Message | We vastly prefer the income tax to the sales tax. |
Date | 04:17:03, January 02, 2012 CET | From | Social Darwinist Party | To | Debating the Proposal to raise sales tax |
Message | I want a 10% flat income tax, a 10% luxury tax, no essential goods tax, and a 10% corporate tax and then cut government spending to whatever you can pay for under that level... but I'm not the Finance Minister and I don't have 335 votes in the National Assembly. |
Date | 17:16:07, January 02, 2012 CET | From | Social Congress | To | Debating the Proposal to raise sales tax |
Message | a FLAT RATE income tax?!? *coma* |
