| Our free and independent media should not be only a platform for government propaganda. We need a balanced policy on advertising that permits goods and services to be advertised to the population whilst also allowing for government information bulletins. Furthermore, advertising is sometimes necessary as a means to generate funds for our community media given its strict independence from the national government. |
