Message | A very logical and reasonable bill. |
Date | 20:33:40, November 27, 2005 CET | From | Left-Hand Path | To | Debating the Trade Union Reform Act |
Message | We are not concerned with how unions run themselves, so long as membership is non-compulsory. |
Date | 20:51:00, November 27, 2005 CET | From | Country Labor Party | To | Debating the Trade Union Reform Act |
Message | We support this bill. Trade unions should be accountable to their members, who are most directly affected by a strike. |

Message | Again, we oppose, the arguments have been given already. This kind of legislation sabotages the unions, since it makes it possible to vote over and over again on a strike if the governement doesn t like it, untill people in a period of feeling defeatist will accept. Look just what Tatcher did in the mine strike. If free market exists, let the trade unions defend the workers rights, and decide themselves how they organise |

Message | Thatcher for all her many faults (and god knows I hate to agree with her) took action against Unions which were not acting for the benefit of their members of the state but out of their own greed and stubborness. |
Date | 13:44:17, November 28, 2005 CET | From | Plinio's United Followers | To | Debating the Trade Union Reform Act |
Message | If people really believe that their strike is worth it, then they should take the effort to vote for it every once in a while. That ensures that the workers are actually doing something instead of simply slothing around and going to vacation at the expense of the company. |
