As Minister of Foreign Affairs I suggest to open Embassies in other nations. The Ambassadors are to be suggested by the Foreign Minister to the Bundespräsident, who can approve or disapprove the nominated candidates.

Therefore I propose:

1. to ratify the Dundorfian Treaty of Diplomatic Relations between our Republik and other nation s
2. to appoint Ambassadors

MessageWe generally support this initiative, but we would rather prefer if the Bundestag approved or disapproved the nominated ambassadors, as the Bundespräsident is mainly a representative and not a legislative institution, to make sure that their appointment is legitimized in a democratic process and the will of the people is reflected.
