Message | Article 1 is a no. Article 2 is a maybe. Article 3 is a no. |

Message | I can dump 3 but I feel that 1 is solid policy. Bio and chemical weapons should never be used in combat. They're unnecessarily harmful to the civilian population and they often get out of hand. For example, if we deployed smallpox on our enemies and it mutated into a form we couldn't combat, we'd be screwed. However if we kept these weapons solely for research purposes then we could develop the necessary countermeasures without the temptation to use them against an enemy. |

Message | I very much like Article 2 but I'm worried about Article 1. Sure, developing weapons is bad, but if we have no ability to strike backl we are a target. At least reserveing the right to develop weapons make us a safer nation. I know I'm sounding like a hypocrite, and in an ideal utopia every country would adopt Article 1, but this is not the case. If the defense-loving parties in our country are anything to go by, the whole of Terra is obsessed with the idea of needing a huge defence. I like Article 3, although I would prefer it to go furthre and be the old policy of looking at cases one-by-one. But in a militarist state like Cildania, this bill will not pass. |

Message | Article 1 reserves our right to develop countermeasures against these weapons and our nukes provide enough deterent to make chemical/biological weapons useless as a deterrent. Where's the downside? |

Message | It makes us vulnerable. Nukes are a big thing. To not have smaller weapons available (chemical/biological) rather than just one huge fuck-off A-bomb we are a more credible defence. I can't believe I'm saying this ... but we need weapons because I believe a Terra war is likely in the near future. |

Message | There are many sizes of nuke OCP, kinds that are so small that they affect only a .25 mile blast radius. Chemical and biological weapons are imprecise and can lead to outbreaks of pandemic dsiease. Obviously they're more danger than they're worth in offensive capability. |

Message | Whatever. This bill won't pass anyway, so I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince the other parties. You will not succeed. |
