Message | This is an abomination. Repealing the existence of a minimum wage? Really. It is obvious the captains of Industry at the K-L P have decided to just rape this country's people for all they are worth. I hope the other parties do not let this slide |

Message | The minimum wage is an abomination. The presence of the minimum wage would only out-source Selucian work to nations who are willing to work for less. The minimum wage is also responsible for exuberant prices for all sorts of goods, even the necessities. It should have never been implemented in the first place. For their own moral satisfaction, liberals and socialists want to sacrifice the nation's economic competence and cost of living; it is about time they are stopped. Edmund Thaler |

Message | In most cases it is relatively difficult (or sometimes even impossible) to employ workers from other nations so Selucian employers are forced not to our-source work but to pay more for workers of Selucian nationality. We don't know what about socialists (and don't know is there any socialists in Selucia at all), but liberals value freedom of Selucian citizens (in this case freedom from poverty and near-slave labor) more than nation's interests. Goal of current minimum wage law is to ensure that every working citizen can adequately subsist, that he will not die from hunger or lack of medical care or (driven to despair by poverty) become a criminal etc. DRU would not support rise of minimum wage because this would really hamper economy growth. But complete abolishment of minumum wage is even worse. |
