Message | I already voted but to clarify...(.this may be a stupid question), but in this bill, what is considered a child 14 15 16 17??? or 10 11 12 and 13. It makes a big difference |

Message | I don't think it says anywhere. To me, this means "teenager" because it specifies a difference between "adults" and "children." There is no option to say "older children." In my mind this would be included in the additional regulations section. So yes, to clear things up before the Socialists decide to hate me completely, I do not see this as saying five-year-olds may now work. I think 13 is a reasonable threshold and would be opposed to anything much more work-intensive than stocking the shelves of a department store for anyone younger than, say, 16. |

Message | CHILD labour, it says nothing about ages, I think it is everything under 18. There is nothing stopping adults from forcing for instance pre-teens to work now, as no laws prohibit it. Child labour and work like in a grocery store are two entirely different things! But because of the last thing you say, we don't hate you completely, not at all actually :) |
